Description

American Traveler is hiring a seasonal travel RN for a PACU position requiring at least one year of recent PACU experience and BLS/ACLS certification.

Details

• Work in the Main PACU unit of a hospital setting
• 15-bed unit with a staff of approximately 35
• Estimated patient ratio of 2:1 (not guaranteed)
• Uses GE monitors for patient monitoring
• Meditech EMR used
• 13-week assignment with a 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM shift schedule
• Performs Phase I recovery and Phase II discharge procedures

Requirements

• Active RN license, CO or compact license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications, with certifications not expiring within 30 days of start
• Minimum 1 year of current hospital PACU experience required
• Pre-op experience preferred
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide post-anesthesia recovery care through Phase I and Phase II discharge
• Best suited for candidates with an upbeat personality who thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not considered
• First-time travelers may be considered for this role
