Join our team as a PACU Registered Nurse at a leading healthcare facility in Everett, WA. We are seeking dedicated and skilled RNs to provide exceptional care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients recovering from a variety of surgical procedures.

As a PACU RN, you will be responsible for monitoring patients post-surgery, ensuring their safety and comfort, and providing necessary interventions as required. You will work alongside a team of healthcare professionals in a Level II Trauma Center, adhering to ASPAN standards and utilizing EPIC for charting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from various surgical procedures.
• Monitor vital signs and assess patients' conditions.
• Administer medications and perform interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.

Requirements:

• Current RN license in the state of Washington.
• ACLS, BLS certifications required; PALS preferred.
• First-time travelers are welcome.
• Weekend and call shifts required (once per 4-week period).
• Float required as needed.
