**Exciting Opportunity for HI-PACU - Variable (11/9)** **Job Description:** - Embrace the thrill of caring for patients in the dynamic environment of the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). - Work alongside a team of dedicated professionals post-surgery in both Phase I and Phase II recovery. - Bring your advanced knowledge of anesthesiology and critical care nursing skills to assess incision sites, monitor vital signs, and ensure patient stability. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide exceptional pre-operative and post-operative care to patients. - Utilize critical thinking to identify complications and address patient needs effectively. - Collaborate with a team in a fast-paced environment that requires compassion and expertise. **Requirements:** - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a critical care RN (i.e., ER & ICU) or equivalent PACU nurse experience. - Valid certifications: - BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) credential is recommended. - Active professional license within the state of HI required before contract start date. **Skills & Equipment:** - Familiarity with Meditech, PCA Pumps, Pyxis, Braun IV Pumps, Cryocuff, SCD's, Bair PAWS Warmers, HP Monitors, and Phillips Monitors. - Additional specialty-related certifications (i.e., NIHSS & TNCC) are preferred. **Schedule Requirements:** - Flexible shifts available: 8, 10, or 12 hours. - Shifts may include Days, Evenings, Nights, and Weekends/Holidays. - On-call requirement of 0-3 times per month (8-hour night and 24-hour weekends/holidays). - Holiday coverage is a must. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
