**Join Our Dynamic PACU Team!** **Job Description:** - Position: Travel RN PACU - Shift: 11:00AM - 8:30PM - Location: Richmond, VA **Unit Information:** - **Number of Beds:** - 19 Main PACU - 4 Beds in Atrium PACU - **Staffing:** - 13 Full-time team members - Staff includes: RN’s, Clinical Coordinator, Dept. Assistants - **Shift Structure:** - Day Shift: 8:00a, 9:00a, 11:00a, and 12:00p waterfall schedule - Night Shift: On call after 9:30p - **Patient Ratios:** - 2:1 - 1:1 for unstable ICU - 1:1 for pediatric patients - **Equipment Used:** - Ventilators - Phillips and GE monitors - Sigma spectrum pumps - **Electronic Medical Record (EMR):** Meditech **Typical Hiring Profile:** **Required Skills:** - PACU or ICU experience - Strong Neuro background - Ventilator competency **Preferred Skills:** - ICU or PACU experience - Drip titration knowledge - Neurosurgery familiarity **Common Procedures:** - Set up PCA pump - Drip titration - Arterial line blood draw **Best Personality Fit:** - Excellent organizational skills - Ability to multitask - Team player mentality - Dependable and reliable **Required Certifications:** - ACLS - PALS **Floating Areas:** None **Dress Code:** - Scrub Color/Attire: Navy **Weekends and On-call:** - On call weekday from 9:30p – 8:00a - Weekend call: 7a – 7a (call rotates among staff) **Experience Required:** - 2 years **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
