We are seeking a dedicated and skilled PACU Registered Nurse to join our team in Hazard, KY. This is a contract position requiring a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the PACU. As a PACU RN, you will play a critical role in the recovery of patients post-anesthesia, ensuring their comfort and safety during this vital phase of care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients’ vital signs and recovery progress in the PACU.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Float within the scope of practice as needed.

Requirements:

• Must have AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Flu vaccine is required; declinations are not accepted.
• Medical and religious exemptions approved on a case-by-case basis.
• Resource must reside at least 75 miles from the facility; locals are not accepted.
• Assignment confirmation needs to be signed within 24 hours of an offer.
• ARH coversheet and valid Driver's license are required in all submission packets.

This position requires being on call every 4th weekend and two nights per week. Orientation is bi-weekly, and please note that ratios can fluctuate with census and call-ins.
