Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced PACU RN for an academic medical center setting requiring a compact or LA RN license and AHA certifications.

Details

  • Work in the PACU unit of an academic medical center
  • 13-week assignment length
  • Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours (12:00 PM - 8:30 PM)

Requirements

  • Active RN license (Compact or LA) currently in hand
  • Current AHA certifications required
  • Valid driver's license required for consideration
  • Two Manager/Supervisor references required to obtain clearance to start contract (Charge RNs not acceptable)

Additional Information

  • Candidates must reside more than 65 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
  • Former Ochsner Health System permanent staff or in-house agency contractors must be separated from the health system for a full year before returning as a traveler
  • All requested time off (RTO) must be listed on the candidate profile and discussed during the interview to avoid risk of offer rescission
