Job Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required; PACU, perioperative, post-op recovery, or acute care experience preferred
• Current AHA ACLS and PALS certifications
• Strong assessment, documentation, and clinical critical thinking skills
• Ability to read telemetry strips and respond confidently to changing patient conditions
• Experience with electronic charting systems preferred
• Comfort working assigned night shifts in a team-oriented healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, attentive post-anesthesia nursing care to adult patients recovering from procedures
• Monitor vital signs, pain levels, airway status, and overall recovery progress in the PACU
• Perform thorough nursing assessments and communicate changes in patient condition promptly
• Administer medications and supportive interventions according to established protocols
• Document care accurately and maintain clear communication with the care team
• Support patient education and discharge readiness as appropriate
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and fellow nurses to promote excellent patient outcomes
• Contribute to a professional, efficient, and compassionate recovery environment
