WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Newton, Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and assess their recovery from anesthesia.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and comfort.
  • Educate patients and their families about post-operative care and recovery processes.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a PACU setting.
  • Valid RN license.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
