**Join Our Dynamic Team as a PACU Registered Nurse!** **Job Description:** - **Shift:** Days - 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM (4, 10-hour rotating shifts) - **Start Date:** ASAP **Required Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:** - Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license - Current BLS via AHA Certification - Current ACLS via AHA Certification - Current PALS via AHA Certification **Weekend Requirement:** - 2 weekends with 12-hour shifts on call per month (Saturday/Sunday = 1 weekend) **On Call Requirement:** - One night call per week **Floating Requirement / Locations:** - Floating within surgical services **EMR Used:** - EPIC **Dress Code:** - Graphite Gray Scrubs **Position Summary:** - A passionate Registered Nurse who coordinates and implements patient care across various age groups. - Ensure quality care in a safe, efficient manner consistent with the unit’s standards of care. - Demonstrate excellence in work habits and clinical practices, treating staff, physicians, patients, and families with respect. **Key Responsibilities:** - Meet OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders - Conduct initial assessments and establish priorities based on patient needs - Re-assess patients systematically to identify progress and trends that require intervention - Develop and implement measurable, individualized plans of care - Make informed nursing decisions and modify plans based on evaluations - Participate in patient health education and discharge planning - Implement and document timely interventions according to patient needs - Conduct various Point of Care testing procedures **Requirements:** - **Education/Skills:** - Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing - Current knowledge and skills appropriate for the patient population served - Sensitive to patients’ rights during care delivery - Effective communication skills tailored to developmental age - **Experience:** - Newly hired nurses with two or less years of experience will be hired at CN I status - Consideration for a higher clinical ladder level (II and III) based on relevant experience, certification, and education - **Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:** - Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license - Current BLS Certification - Current ACLS Certification - Current PALS Certification **Work Schedule:** - 4, 10-hour shifts **Work Type:** - Full-Time **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
