Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced PACU RN for a 13-week night shift assignment at an academic medical center, requiring an active MA RN license and prior travel PACU experience.

Details

• Work in the PACU Nursing Day unit of a hospital setting
• 36 hours per week on straight night shifts, Monday through Thursday
• Shift hours are 19:00-07:30
• 13-week assignment length
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required; no conditional or pending licenses accepted
• Current BLS certification required (AHA preferred; some facilities require AHA only)
• Minimum 3+ years of RN experience required
• 1+ years of travel PACU experience required
• 1+ years of Academic Medical Center experience required
• Primary source verification of license/certification required within 30 days of start, updated upon expiration
• Both NURSYS and BON verification required for nursing license

Additional Information

• Flu vaccine required during flu season with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
• Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston to qualify for standard rate
• Uses UKG/Kronos for timekeeping
• No validated parking available at Boston locations; public transportation or paid public parking required
