Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced PACU RN requiring BLS, ACLS, PALS, and dysrhythmia certification along with pediatric and GYN patient care experience.

Details

• Work in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit of a hospital setting
• Primary patient population is general PACU, with pediatric and GYN cases also encountered
• 10-hour rotating day/evening shifts, 40 hours per week
• No floating or charge responsibilities required

Requirements

• Active RN license, VT or compact required upon acceptance (any state license accepted initially)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Dysrhythmia testing required
• Experience caring for pediatric and GYN patients required
• Cerner EMR experience preferred

Additional Information

• Provide post-anesthesia recovery care to a variety of surgical patients
• Orientation is held on a biweekly basis
• Schedule requests are approved at the manager's discretion
• A personal vehicle is encouraged as public transportation is not easily accessible
