Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a PACU position requiring a CA RN license and BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Details

• PreOp/PACU unit providing direct patient care
• Surgical services include orthopedic, general surgery, gyn, podiatry, pain, ophthalmology, and endoscopy
• Day shift schedule with 4x10 hour and 5x8 hour shift options, 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
• Call required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Certifications must be from AHA or ARC
• 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care in preop and post-anesthesia recovery settings
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius for local rate consideration
• Local candidates accepted at the local rate
• Returning employees must have a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler
• Holiday coverage applies to New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
• Only 1 holiday time-off request approved per contract
• Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract
• Must complete lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
• Can only be submitted to one Sutter Health facility at a time
