Job Summary: The Clinical Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering safe, effective, and high-quality nursing care in alignment with the philosophy and objectives of the Department of Nursing. Utilizing Jean Watson’s Theory of Caring, Relationship-Based Care, and NorthBay’s professional nursing practice model, the RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care for assigned patients. The role involves fostering therapeutic relationships with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to promote, maintain, and restore health. Care is tailored to the physiological, developmental, and psychosocial needs of patients while supporting the organization’s mission, vision, values, and commitment to excellence.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid and current CA RN License
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience within the last 5 years or 1 year at ASC PACU
• Experience in PACU, critical care, or ED nursing
• PALS certification within 3 months of hire
• TNCC certification (proof required if previously completed or within 12 months of hire)
• Procedural Sedation Certification within 3 months

Preferred Qualifications:

• CCRN certification
• CSPAN, ATCN, and TCAR certifications

Additional Information:

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional registered nursing (Associate or Bachelor’s degree accepted)
• Proficient written, verbal, and electronic communication skills
• Completion of annual organizational requirements for employment
• Physical effort includes lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, twisting, reaching, and fine motor skills
