Job Title: Gross Room Technician
Profession: Pathologist Assistant

Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Experience: Prior experience in a hospital setting is required.
License: Must be certified as a Pathologist Assistant
Certifications: ASCP or from an approved certifying agency
Must-Have: Graduation from a NAACLS-accredited Baccalaureate or post-baccalaureate Pathologist Assistant Training program and ASCP BOR certified, or completion of a Bachelor's degree with a major/minor or equivalent in any biological or allied health sciences.
Description:
Performs gross examination of complex surgical specimens.
Includes dissection, description, and tissue sectioning of historical preparation.
Performs specimen photography and radiography as needed.
Certifications are required to ensure quality and compliance.
Candidates should possess a solid educational background and relevant experience.
