Job Title: Patient Care Technician Profession: Patient Care Technician Specialty: Patient Care Technician Duration: 59-day assignment Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 8 hours (16:00 - 00:15) Experience: One year experience as a Nursing Attendant License: Required Certifications: BLS, PCT Must-Have: - High School Diploma or GED - Successful completion of an approved Patient Care Associate training program - Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English Description: This position is for a Patient Care Technician in a recovery room setting. The assignment covers a leave of absence for a full-time employee. The schedule is Monday to Friday, with rotating weekends. Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED. BLS certification is required. Candidates must have one year of experience as a Nursing Attendant. Successful completion of an approved Patient Care Associate training program is mandatory. The ability to read, write, and speak fluent English is required. Emergency response skills and knowledge of vital signs monitoring are essential. Experience with electronic health records is preferred. Candidates should be prepared for patient care responsibilities including assistance with mobility, hygiene, and vital sign monitoring. This position may require compliance with health and safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment. Travelers must meet specific licensing and credentialing requirements.
