Travel Patient Care Tech (PCT) - $1,336 per week in Portsmouth, NH

Job Title: CNA/PCT Profession: CNA/PCT Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years in Med Surg in a Client Setting License: Must have valid license in hand prior to submission Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Minimum 2 years experience in Med Surg in a Client Setting Description: This position is for a CNA/PCT specializing in Med Surg. The unit has 27 beds and includes a staff of 5-6 RNs and 2-3 LNAs. The day shift includes a Charge RN, RNs, LNAs, and a Unit Coordinator from Monday to Friday. The night shift has a Charge RN, RNs, and 2-3 LNAs. Patient ratios are approximately 5-6 patients per nurse. Equipment used on the unit includes Hoyer lifts, CPM machines, and EMR systems. Typical procedures performed include orthopedic surgeries such as knees, hips, shoulders, and cervical procedures, as well as bariatric procedures. Candidates must work collaboratively with team members and have a strong patient focus. Floating areas may include Medical Oncology. The dress code is scrubs with no specific color requirement. Weekend shifts are expected, with 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule.
