• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 36 hours per week
• Charting System: Epic
• Float Expectations: May include med/surg, telemetry, ER-boarded patients, and other inpatient areas based on unit need

Job Requirements

• Active RN license with compact license in hand at submission
• Minimum of 2 years of registered nurse experience required
• Charge nurse experience required
• US clinical experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Experience with cardiac telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Epic charting experience required
• Ability to care for adult and geriatric patients in a variable-acuity setting
• Comfortable floating and adapting quickly to changing inpatient unit needs

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate patient care as a Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse across multiple inpatient units
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, assess changes in patient condition, and escalate concerns appropriately
• Use strong clinical judgment while managing patient ratios that may range from 1:4 to 1:6 depending on acuity
• Support charge nurse duties on smaller units, including staffing coordination, bed flow, and unit organization
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, physical therapy, radiology, phlebotomy, and rapid response
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient updates in Epic
• Follow infection control protocols, isolation precautions, and unit-specific care standards
• Contribute to a team-oriented environment focused on quality patient care, flexibility, and clinical excellence
