Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent Registered Nurse experience required
• Previous charge nurse experience required
• Experience with patient ratios of approximately 1:4-6
• Current RN license required; compact license must be in hand at submission
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Epic charting experience required
• US clinical experience required
• Experience with cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation, telemetry, and isolation precautions/PPE
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to varying float assignments
• Must be willing to work 3 of the 5 major holidays during the contract
• 2 professional references covering the last year of experience within the past 3 years

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in PCU, telemetry, med-surg, and other float assignments as needed
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, interpret dysrhythmias, and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Deliver safe, compassionate care while maintaining strong attention to detail in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Support charge responsibilities on select small units when assigned, including staffing coordination and patient flow
• Collaborate with IV therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, PT, phlebotomy, and rapid response teams
• Document accurately in Epic and follow facility protocols and best practices
• Float between units or nearby sister facilities when required by patient care needs
• Maintain flexibility, professionalism, and a team-first mindset throughout the assignment
