MS/Tele Float RN Job Description
- Location: Olympia, WA
- Start Date: October 20, 2026 / ASAP
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Schedule: 3×12-hour shifts; block scheduling unavailable
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Unit: MS/Tele Float Pool
- Patient Ratios: 1:4 to 1:6, based on unit acuity
- Charting: Epic
- Experience: Minimum 2 years required; U.S. hospital experience required
- Charge Experience: Required
- Float Requirement: Yes. May float to Med/Surg, Telemetry, ER boarding, and other units based on hospital need.
- Potential Charge Duties: May support staffing, bed flow, and general coordination on small units.
- 48-Hour Schedules: Must be approved by the manager before offering.
Required Skills
- Med/Surg and Telemetry experience
- Cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation/management
- Experience caring for adult and geriatric patients
- Charge nurse experience
Certifications
- BLS required
- ACLS and NIHSS preferred
