MS/Tele Float RN | Olympia, WA 98506
- Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
- Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts
- Patient Ratio:1:4-6, depending on unit acuity
- Float: Yes, throughout the institution based on staffing needs
- Patient Population: ER-boarded patients, Tele, MedSurg, and other areas
- Charge Experience:Required
- Cardiac Stepdown Experience: Ideal, but not required
Charge Responsibilities
The RN may function as Charge Nurse on two small units. These units typically have only 1-2 RNs, supported by LPNs and CNAs. Responsibilities include:
- Staffing coordination
- Bed flow
- General unit coordination
- Core charge nurse duties
