Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities, specifically in the PCU/IMC Stepdown unit. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in an 18-bed PCU Oncology unit focusing on adult oncology and trauma patients.
• Participate in hourly rounding and bedside shift reports to enhance patient experience.
• Administer and monitor titratable drips including Insulin, Cardizem, Heparin, and Chemotherapy.
• Adhere to safety protocols including the prohibition of artificial nails in patient care areas.
• Float to other Med/Surg and PCU units as required, maintaining the same level of care.
• Utilize EPIC EMR system and operate medical equipment including Alaris IV pumps and high-flow respiratory devices.

Qualifications

• Current RN license and a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required; ONCC certification preferred but not mandatory.
• Proven skills in administering and titrating various medication drips.
• Experience with EPIC EMR system preferred.
• Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork and patient-centered care.
• Able to work every other weekend and handle a 1:4 to 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio on nights.
