Job Details:
**Experience Requirements** - Minimum 1 year of experience required - First-time travelers are accepted - Oncology experience is preferred, but strong PCU experience without oncology is acceptable - Charge nurse experience is not required **Certifications** - BLS required - ACLS required - CHEMO CERT preferred, but not required - ONS/ONCC preferred, but not required **Licensure and Qualifications** - BSN not required - Driver's license required at submission to determine if candidate is outside 50 miles **Skills and Equipment** - RNs occasionally titrate Insulin and Cardizem drips - Common drips/medications include: Chemotherapy, Heparin, Cardizem, Protonix - Familiarity with high flow respiratory equipment - EMR: Epic - IV Pumps: Alaris **Team and Support Staff** - Nursing Assistants - Charge Nurse - PT/OT - RN Case Manager - Social Worker - Educator - Dietitian **Patient Experience and Team Culture** - Focus on hourly rounding and bedside shift report - Seeking nurses with a positive attitude who embrace teamwork and care for a diverse patient population **Shift and Scheduling** - 12-hour shifts from 0630a-7:00p or 0630p-7:00a - Self-scheduling with every other weekend requirement **Additional Notes** - Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care departments - Must pass a pass/fail open book exam with a 90% during orientation
