Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit/Intermediate Care/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide focused care for cardiac patients including those with congestive heart failure and acute coronary syndrome.
• Manage patients with respiratory challenges, such as COPD and pneumonia.
• Administer and titrate medications including cardiac drips and insulin drips.
• Interpret and respond to EKGs and arterial blood gases (ABGs).
• Ensure compliance with all required safety and care protocols, including isolation and PPE.
• Float between units as needed and manage a safe patient care environment.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license for the state of North Carolina at time of submission.
• Minimum of 2 years progressive care or critical care experience required.
• Certifications in ACLS and BLS are mandatory.
• Experience with EPIC charting system required.
• Proficiency in IV management, telemetry, and dysrhythmia interpretation.
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required; exemptions available for medical or religious reasons.
