Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring telemetry experience and Epic proficiency, working night shifts in Ohio.

Details

• Hospital-based Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting
• Telemetry monitoring of PCU patients
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Epic EMR — experience required

Requirements

• Active Ohio or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Telemetry experience required, including ability to pass a telemetry competency test
• Proficiency in IV insertion, medication administration, lab interpretation, and patient education
• Epic EMR experience required
• 2 professional references required: at least 1 from a Manager, Director, or formal leadership role (Supervisor); a Charge RN is acceptable as the second reference — no coworker references accepted

Additional Information

• Local candidates are accepted
• Former facility employees are eligible to apply once they have been away from the facility for at least 6 months
• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application and is limited to 7 days or fewer for the contract duration
• Candidates are required to complete Ohio state fingerprinting promptly after accepting an offer — out-of-state candidates within driving distance must travel to an Ohio fingerprinting location; those farther away will receive a fingerprinting packet by mail to be completed urgently upon receipt
