- Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts per week, including weekdays, some weekends, and rotating holidays
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,940 - $2,040
- Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:3
- Orientation: 36 hours
- Call: On-call required

Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Progressive Care Unit RN or step-down nursing experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Epic experience required
- Valid compact or state RN license in hand at time of submission
- Strong telemetry, cardiac monitoring, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed
- Willingness to complete the Ohio fingerprinting and credentialing process promptly after booking
- Two professional references required, including at least one supervisor, manager, director, or charge RN
- Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality adult acute care nursing to PCU patients with complex cardiac and medical diagnoses
- Monitor telemetry, recognize dysrhythmias, and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Manage IV therapy, blood product administration, and medication titration as clinically indicated
- Care for ventilated patients, tracheostomy patients, and those requiring BiPAP/CPAP or high-flow oxygen support
- Support chest tube management, central line care, PICC line care, and hemodialysis-related care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure safe, coordinated patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and uphold unit standards for safety, quality, and patient outcomes
- Float to other units within the organization as needed based on patient care demands
