Job Title: Travel PCU Registered Nurse (RN) - Pulmonary / GI (Night Shift)

Job Description: Join the exceptional nursing team at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA! We are seeking an experienced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN for a travel contract on our fast-paced Pulmonary/GI stepdown unit. This facility is a 703-bed teaching hospital, the region’s only Level I Trauma Center, and is Magnet-designated for nursing excellence. Contract Details:

• Target Start Date: 08/03/2026
• Shift: 12-hour Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
• Scheduling: Includes weekend coverage (EOW or 6 shifts/6 weeks) and 1 holiday requirement.
• Note: Any Requested Time Off (RTO) must be disclosed completely at the time of submission.

Requirements:

• Experience: Previous PCU/Stepdown/IMC experience required. You must be comfortable with cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, and IV therapy (including Heparin/Insulin protocols and Amiodarone).
• Systems: EPIC charting experience is required.
• Certifications: Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Licensure: Active VA or Compact RN license. (Pending licenses accepted only if holding a single-state, non-compact license).
