Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM with weekend rotation.

Job Description

The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care to patients in a newly opened unit. The role involves working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients' conditions and vital signs
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Provide education and support to patients and their families
• Document patient care activities using Meditech
• Float to other units as required by staffing needs

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in Texas (Temp licenses not accepted)
• 2+ years of hospital nursing experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• NIH Stroke Certification required
• Experience with Meditech preferred
