Job Title

Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 19:00–07:00)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide PCU-level nursing care to a patient population ranging from adolescents to geriatrics
  • Monitor patients continuously via telemetry and titrate cardiac drips as required
  • Deliver care across Neuro/Stroke PCU, respiratory, cardiac, and mixed medical settings
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communication using SBAR methodology within Epic
  • Float within the facility and within scope of practice as operationally needed
  • Work every other weekend and fulfill holiday obligations per assignment schedule

Required Qualifications

  • Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact license required at time of submission
  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience; first-time travelers accepted
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
  • Proficiency with Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR communication framework
  • Experience titrating cardiac drips and performing continuous telemetry monitoring

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Prior experience in a Neuro/Stroke PCU or similar step-down environment
  • Familiarity with managing respiratory and mixed medical patient populations
  • Experience working in a high-census unit (unit census averages 30 of 36 beds)
