Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Progressive Care Unit – Pocatello, ID 83201

Start Date: August 24, 2026

Location: Pocatello, Idaho

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (18:45 - 07:15). Patient ratio typically 1:3 or 1:4. Six weekend shifts per contract required.

Highlights:

• 24-bed Progressive Care/Stepdown/Telemetry unit in a comprehensive stroke center and Level II Trauma facility
• Work with complex cardiac patients including post-PCI and open-heart surgery cases
• Chest Pain Accredited facility with advanced cardiac capabilities
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Epic charting system experience required
• First-time travelers accepted with minimum 1 year of experience

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact license must be in hand at time of application)
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of progressive care or stepdown nursing experience
• Experience with 1:4 patient ratios
• Epic charting system experience required
• Skills required: blood product administration, central line care, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, cardiac and vasoactive drip management (no titration), non-invasive airway management, isolation precautions
• Must reside outside 100-mile radius from facility
