**Exciting Opportunity in Cardiac Stepdown Nursing!** Job Description: - Join an exceptional cardiac stepdown unit dedicated to providing top-notch care to a significant cardiac patient population. - Choose between flexible scheduling options with 36 or 48-hour shifts. - Experience thriving in a fast-paced environment with opportunities for growth and learning. - Ideal for professionals with 2 years of preferred experience (will consider candidates with 1+ years). - First-time travelers are welcomed, making this an ideal opportunity for those looking to explore! Key Details: - Patient Ratios: 1:4 to ensure quality attention to each patient. - Weekend Requirements: As needed, with rotating schedules. - Float Requirement: Yes, be prepared to enhance your skills across various areas. - On Call Requirement: None – enjoy your time off without the worry! - Block Scheduling: Available on a case-by-case basis. - RTO Parameters: Flexible - we understand the importance of work-life balance. Certification Requirements: - BLS (Basic Life Support) - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - NIH (National Institutes of Health) - CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) preferred but not mandatory. Additional Information: - 55 beds on the unit, providing ample opportunities for collaboration and teamwork. - Cardiovascular experience is required to ensure competent care for our patients. - Scrub Color: Any (no logo) – express your personal style!
