Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in a highly dynamic patient care environment. This position ensures high standards of nursing care are maintained while providing specialized support to stroke and brain patients.

Unit Information

• Unit Name: Stroke & Brain
• Number of Beds: 16
• Patient Ratios: 4:1
• Equipment Used: Welch Allyn VS Machines, Hoyer lift, Sarah Steady Lift, Telemetry, Bladder Scanner, Doppler
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Unit Staffing: Includes the availability of unit secretaries and techs

Scheduling Requirements

• 3 shifts per week
• 3-4 weekend shifts
• Floating policy: May require floating to other areas based on competency

Qualifications

• Required Skills: Experience in cardiac drips, telemetry, and neurology
• Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Advanced Skills: Proficiency with cardiac drips and basic dysrhythmia management

Dress Code

All staff members are required to wear navy blue uniforms.
