**Join Our Dynamic Team as a Travel RN - D3A - PCU!** **Job Description** - **Location:** 509 Biltmore Avenue, A tower, D corridor, 3rd floor - **Cost Center:** 616 - **Unit Specifics:** - Number of Beds: 10 ICU/PCU Overflow - Patient Ratios: 2:1 ICU, 4-5:1 PCU - Staffing: - Day Shift: 1 Charge RN, 5 Staff RNs - Night Shift: 1 Charge RN, 5 Staff RNs - No unit secretaries or PCTs on the unit - **Type of Equipment:** - Lift equipment - Targeted Temperature Management (TTM) - Ventilators - IV pumps - **Documentation System:** Cerner - **Scheduling Requirements:** - 12-hour shifts - Every other weekend requirement - Holiday support - **On Call Requirements:** No - **Floating Policy:** Yes, travelers will be required to float **Hiring Profile** - **Requested Skill Set:** - Must have: Medical ICU experience in a large facility, comfortable with hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management. - Characteristics: Critical thinker, flexible, and a team player. - **Advanced Skills Needed:** - Ventilator management - Critical care pharmacology (IV sedation, paralytics, vasopressors) - Advanced hemodynamic monitoring - Central line management - **Procedures Performed on Unit:** - Assist providers with bedside procedures as needed (e.g., chest tube insertion, intubations) - **Certifications Required:** - BLS - ACLS - **Dress Code:** - Navy blue or white scrubs **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
