Job Details:
**Experience and Licensure Requirements:** - Minimum of 12 months permanent experience in PCU/Stepdown is required. - Applicants need a permanent Ohio license or a compact state license in hand. **Certifications:** - AHA BLS & ACLS are required. - Active certifications must be in hand at the time of submission; pending certifications are not accepted. **Assessment Requirements:** - ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completion during orientation with acceptable scores on both assessments is required. - The traveler will get two attempts to pass these assessments. **Reference Requirements:** - One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required. - References should be from assignments worked within the past 12 months. - Co-worker references are not accepted. **COVID-19 and Flu Vaccine:** - Both are required, with allowances only for medical or religious exemptions. **Other Compliance Details:** - Facility does not accept any license or background hits. Open cases are inadmissible. - Nurses and CSTs are temporarily exempt from the nicotine-free facility requirement. **Hands-On Competency and Education Modules:** - Annual hands-on competency for nurses is required for candidates on continuous or returning contracts. - Pre-start modules are average of 6-15 hours, with 4 hours billable; all others are non-billable. **Additional Notes:** - Locals are accepted at the same bill rate, and travel candidates may extend their contract for a period of 18 months, requiring a 6-month break afterward. Extensions might bypass this requirement depending on client approval. - BCI/FBI prints must be completed within 48 hours of signing the contract.
