• Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,040
• Weekend Requirement: Every other/third weekend
• Float Requirement: Floating within the organization is required
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
• Unit Focus: Burn and specialty surgery with mixed-acuity patients

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of recent PCU or Progressive Care Unit experience required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Experience with charting systems and medication dispensing systems preferred
• Comfort caring for adult and geriatric patients in a higher-acuity clinical setting
• Ability to work nights and float as needed within the organization
• Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care for adult and geriatric patients in a progressive care setting
• Monitor patients with burns, plastic/reconstructive surgery, urology, GYN, ENT, and oral/maxillofacial needs
• Perform and support specialty care such as burn dressings, flap checks, and leech therapy
• Manage IVs, central lines, arterial lines, telemetry, oxygen therapy, and related interventions
• Administer medications and titrate therapies according to unit protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support safe, efficient patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation and promote excellent patient outcomes
