Protouch Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Akron, Ohio.

Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in a PCU/Stepdown setting
- Monitor patients closely and promptly communicate any changes in condition
- Perform thorough patient assessments and provide appropriate nursing interventions
- Safely administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Work collaboratively with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Support a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients
- Follow established patient safety, infection control, and facility guidelines
- Participate in every other holiday as scheduled
- Complete ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation
Requirements
- Minimum 12 months of permanent PCU/Stepdown experience preferred/required
- Permanent Ohio RN license or compact state RN license in hand
- AHA BLS certification required
- AHA ACLS certification required
- Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation
- COVID-19 Vaccine: Required — Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
- Flu Vaccine: Required — Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
