Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care/Step-Down unit within a Short Term Acute Care, Level III Trauma Center setting
• Maintain expected patient ratios of 1:4
• Float between units or nearby sister facilities as needed based on staffing requirements
• Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR
• Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• Complete required onboarding modules prior to and during orientation as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of PCU/Step-Down RN experience required
• Must submit all RTO and scheduling requests upfront at time of submission — post-offer RTO requests may not be considered
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard terms; locals within 50 miles may be considered at an adjusted rate
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start (Charge RNs/Leads accepted)
• Facility does not accept Nursys or background check hits

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a Level III Trauma Center or Short Term Acute Care environment
• Familiarity with Epic EMR charting
• Experience floating between multiple units or facilities
