Job Details:
**Required Experience and Qualifications:** - 24 months of Medical Surgical, IMCU, Stepdown, or Progressive Care experience in a hospital or medical center setting - Neurology/neurosurgery care experience - Ortho/orthopedic care experience - Experience with EPIC EMR/electronic medical records - Drip Experience: Heparin, PCA, 3% Sodium/Na - EKG/Strip reading measuring/telemetry experience - Active Iowa/IA license or compact/Multistate license - AHA/Active American Heart Association or ARC/AMERICAN RED CROSS ACLS - AHA/Active American Heart Association or ARC/AMERICAN RED CROSS BLS - No first-time travelers, must have completed at least one travel assignment in the previous 12 months - Work history/resume/employment history must have 24 months of current Medical Surgical, IMCU, Stepdown, or Progressive Care experience - Skills Checklist specific to the discipline (Medical Surgical, IMCU, Stepdown, or Progressive Care) - Driver's License **Preferred Experience and Qualifications:** - Trauma care experience - Specialty Equipment: telemetry, left equipment, chest tubes, airvo - Trauma level I experience - De-escalation certificate (CPI, MOAB, MAB, or SAMA) - NIHSS certification (can be obtained during onboarding) - Professional Reference/Reference Check from charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO performance evaluation/reference within 24 months of today's date
