RN Job Requirements

• Active Colorado RN license or compact license in hand
• Minimum 2 years of PCU, ICU, or critical care nursing experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Ability to work night shifts and provide weekend coverage as needed
• Strong clinical foundation in telemetry, respiratory support, IV management, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Comfort caring for adult patients with complex, evolving medical needs

Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality bedside care for adult patients with cardiac, respiratory, trauma, and mildly unstable hemodynamic conditions
• Monitor telemetry and respond promptly to changes in patient status
• Support patients requiring BiPAP/CPAP, high-flow oxygen, stable trachs, and other stepdown-level interventions
• Administer medications, manage IVs and central lines, and follow unit protocols for drips and blood product administration
• Collaborate with respiratory therapy, IV teams, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response resources
• Document care accurately and maintain a safe, organized patient assignment
• Float within scope to med-surg units when needed to support facility coverage
