Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Progressive Care Unit – Spokane, WA 99204

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Spokane, Washington

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00), every other weekend required. 13-week assignment with 12 hours of orientation.

• Opportunity to work with diverse patient populations including cardiac, post-procedural, and medical-surgical patients

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of PCU or Stepdown nursing experience required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Epic charting system experience required
• Demonstrated ability to manage and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips (critical requirement)
• Experience with 4-5 patient ratios in progressive care settings
• Proficiency in cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, central line care, blood product administration, and ventilator support (BiPAP/CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula)
• Willingness to float to telemetry or medical-surgical units when needed
• Availability to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
