Key Responsibilities
Perform patient assessments and reassessments per policy and procedure or as warranted by patient condition, demonstrating sound independent clinical decision-making.
Initiate, prioritize, and implement individualized plans of care; review and revise plans in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
Monitor and document patient responses to clinical interventions.
Facilitate, coordinate, and evaluate patient and family education specific to care, treatment, and discharge needs.
Delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed personnel; serve as a mentor and preceptor while promoting teamwork.
Participate in quality, safety, and service process improvement efforts and comply with regulatory standards within a Practice Governance framework.
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
Minimum of two (2) years of acute care RN experience.
Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN).
Current BLS certification.
Current ACLS certification.
Current NIHSS certification.
