• Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Shifts per Week: 3 shifts per week
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed hours
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,360 - $2,480
• Schedule Notes: Every other weekend and holidays required; overtime available

Job Requirements

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• At least 1 year of nursing experience in an acute care or progressive care setting
• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to recognize and report changes in patient condition
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to manage a 4:1 patient ratio in a PCU environment

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Care for patients with a wide variety of cardiac and respiratory conditions in the Progressive Care Unit
• Monitor for changes in condition and communicate concerns promptly
• Provide patient and family education, explanations, and instructions
• Maintain accurate, complete, and timely medical records
• Support a healthy workplace culture through professional communication and conflict management
• Meet core measure responsibilities and participate in continuing education
