In this role, you will provide specialized care to mixed-acuity adult patients on a designated Trauma and Burn PCU/Stepdown unit. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality direct patient care for stepdown and med/surg acuity trauma and burn patients. Continuously monitor telemetry, evaluate hemodynamic status, and manage specialized care plans. Administer medications, intravenous therapies, and blood products as prescribed. Coordinate interdisciplinary care with physicians, surgeons, and allied health professionals. Assess, document, and respond promptly to changes in patient condition. Qualifications & Requirements Active RN License (Alabama or eNLC Compact License in hand). Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS required. Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of stepdown, PCU, or telemetry experience preferred. Schedule: 3x12 night shifts with an every-other-weekend requirement.
