Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Spokane, Washington

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00). Every other weekend required. 13-week assignment with potential for extension.

Highlights:

• Progressive Care Unit/Stepdown position at a 629-bed short-term acute care facility with Level II Trauma Center designation
• Teaching hospital environment with Epic charting system
• Patient ratios of 1:4-5 with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• 42-bed unit caring for adult and geriatric populations with cardiac conditions, post-cardiac procedures, and traditional medical-surgical patients
• Free parking provided; professional scrubs in any color accepted
• Opportunity to work with advanced cardiac monitoring and vasoactive drip management

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license accepted and must be in hand at submission)
• Minimum 1 year of PCU or Stepdown nursing experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Epic charting experience required
• Demonstrated experience with cardiac drip titration and management (critical requirement)
• Experience with patient ratios of 1:4-5
• Proficiency in cardiac telemetry, vasoactive drip titration, central line management, and critical care skills
• Willingness to float to telemetry or medical-surgical units when overstaffed
• Ability to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
