Neuro Tele/Stepdown RN

Job Title: Registered Nurse – Neuro Tele/Stepdown
Facility Type/Setting: Short-Term Acute Care; Level II Trauma Center; Teaching Hospital
Shift & Schedule: Night, 3×12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Weekly Hours: 36 hours
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Call/Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend; must work 4 of 8 specified holidays

Requirements:

• 1 year PCU/Stepdown experience required
• BLS required
• ACLS and NIHSS strongly preferred
• EPIC experience required

• First-time travelers accepted

  
   

• Responsibilities:
• Provide care for Neuro Stepdown and Telemetry patients
• Manage telemetry, dysrhythmias, IV therapies, and neurological care
• Perform medication administration, assessments, and patient monitoring
• Respond to rapid response/code situations and provide wound, respiratory, and line care
