Description

American Traveler is hiring a PCU/Telemetry RN for a day-shift position requiring AZ or compact RN license and Cerner EMR experience.

Details

• Med/Surg/Tele unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, 3x12-hour shifts
• Work 6 weekend shifts (Fri/Sat/Sun) per 6-week schedule
• Floating required
• Cerner EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active AZ or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/Telemetry experience required
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide shift-based patient care utilizing the nursing process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy
• Demonstrate critical thinking, clinical judgment, and leadership in care planning and delivery
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Delegate and supervise patient care tasks commensurate with staff experience and education
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
• Previous CHS perm staff are not eligible if employed within the past 2 years
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
