Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience preferred in PCU, Telemetry, or Med/Surg nursing
• Ability to work independently with strong clinical judgment
• Charge nurse experience is highly valued
• Willingness to float to other units as needed, including ED and maternal/child areas
• Ability to participate in quarterly department education sessions

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and efficient nursing care to PCU and Med/Surg patients
• Monitor telemetry and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Serve in a charge nurse capacity when assigned
• Collaborate with the care team to support quality patient outcomes
• Adapt to changing patient needs and assist with floating responsibilities when required
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold clinical standards throughout the shift
