Description

American Traveler is hiring a Pediatrics RN for a night shift position requiring acute care cardiac experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Pediatric Acute Care Surgical unit within a children's hospital
• Night shift schedule of 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• 13-week assignment length
• May float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals per unit needs

Requirements

• Active OR RN license required
• BLS and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required, including 1 year of inpatient pediatric experience
• Acute care cardiac experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Skills in interpretation of dysrhythmias and IV therapy/phlebotomy required
• Certified Pediatric Nurse certification preferred
• Previous pediatric experience preferred
• Trauma Level I hospital experience preferred
• Management of dysrhythmias and IV starting/maintenance skills preferred

Additional Information

• Provide acute care nursing to pediatric surgical and cardiac patients
• Floating to affiliate hospitals nearby may be required based on unit needs
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
• RTO must be submitted upfront and cannot exceed 2 weeks
• Returning staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
• COVID vaccination proof required with no exemptions accepted
