Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (CICU) position requiring CICU training and night shift availability with every other weekend required.

Details

• Work in the Heart Center ICU / Cardiac ICU (CICU) of a hospital environment
• Pediatric cardiovascular critical care patient population
• Night shift schedule, 7p-7:30a, 12-hour shifts
• 3 shifts per week with every other weekend required
• May be required to float to similar units
• Uses Epic EMR system
• Administers cardiac drips, ICU medications, and transplant medications
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active RN license (GA state or compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Cardiac ICU experience required with CICU training required
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must be able to receive the flu vaccine with no exemptions accepted
• Must pass nicotine and drug screening testing

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to pediatric patients with cardiovascular conditions
• Administer cardiac drips, ICU medications, and transplant medications as part of daily care
• Facility is a nicotine-free workplace requiring testing alongside standard drug screening
• Flu vaccination is required for the flu season with no medical or religious exemptions accepted
