Job Summary Pediatric Emergency Room (ER PEDS) specialist in the organizations healthcare provider facility. This role involves providing specialized pediatric emergency care in a dynamic environment, ensuring high-quality treatment for pediatric patients across various specialties, including Hematology/Oncology and Med Surg. The position requires a commitment to delivering compassionate care and adhering to clinical standards.
Job Details
Position Description: Responsible for delivering pediatric emergency care, including patient assessment, stabilization, and treatment, across pediatric and specialty units.
Required Qualifications: Iowa or multistate/international licensed active nurse with Pediatric / Pediatric Emergency Room experience within the previous 24 months. Must have 2 years of experience in the specialty, certifications in TNCC, BLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), and EPIC electronic medical record system experience within the previous 12 months. Valid drivers license.
Schedule: Evening shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Additional Information: Prior pediatric and pediatric emergency room experience within specified timeframes required. De-escalation certification is a plus. The candidate must have completed at least one travel contract within the previous 18 months. Orientation start dates include 10/26/2026, 11/9/2026, 11/23/2026, and 12/7/2026, with sooner starts prioritized. No first-time travelers are accepted.
Submission Requirements: Candidates must have a professional reference from within the last 24 months, a valid drivers license, and certifications as specified.
