Pediatric Floor RN Nights This position involves providing direct patient care to pediatric and adult patients (females over 18 years of age) in a healthcare facility setting. The role focuses on delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality nursing care, with responsibilities including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care in accordance with hospital standards.

Job Details

• Position Description: The Registered Nurse coordinates and implements patient care specific to the age group served on the assigned pediatric and medical-surgical units. Responsibilities include ensuring quality and safety, performing initial assessments, developing and modifying care plans, and providing patient and family education.
• Required Qualifications: Current New Mexico Registered Nurse (RN) license or current Compact state license; BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), and STABLE certifications; associated education and licensure as specified; two years of relevant experience; scheduled for night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The RN will participate in patient assessment, care planning, documentation, staff collaboration, and patient education. The position demands effective communication, team coordination, and adherence to clinical standards. Expectations include participation in unit growth, development initiatives, and on-call duties if census is low.
